Why don't you sell the software that you write directly? Why do I need to a third party to buy it?
Solution or Answer:Financial Data Net is contracted to write software to the specifications and design of third parties. As such, we do not own the software and cannot sell it.   We do, however, support users of the software that we write once it is purchased by them. On our web site, you can learn about our software and get support for it.
I have a User ID and Password. Why can't I log into your web site?
Solution or Answer:You most likely have an expired account or the account is no longer valid. Contact us asking why your account is not working. Be sure to include the User ID and Password in your message.
Can you recommend a broker to place trades with?
Solution or Answer:We do not recommend any brokers. There are many brokers that advertise on the internet and you can always ask around on the one of the many trading forums. Another good resource would be your local telephone book to find a broker that is located close to where you live.
How do I get an old version of the software updated?
Problem or Question:I purchased the one of the programs several years ago and never traded or really kept up. Now I am ready to start but don't remember my User ID or I can't find the program. What do I do?
Solution or Answer:You should contact us explaining the situation. We will help you get the latest version of the software and help you get caught up.
Will your software run on a non-Windows operating system?
Problem or Question:Can I download and install one of your programs on a Mac?
Solution or Answer:Our programs are Windows based. There are software and hardware devices that you can get for non-Windows operating systems that allow you to run Windows based programs.
While we have done no formal testing with any operating systems other than Windows, we have had customers who have installed our programs on Mac computers and it has worked for some but not others.
